A day in quarantine

It has begun. I’ve started my first fasting session and it’s almost over. Thanks to the quarantine and two weeks of home office I can reset my body and mind – hopefully once and for all.
This day is of special significance. I have been waiting for this for quite a long time: today I finally felt I’m back on track, ready to fight and climb back to the top.
I have devoted 2020 to learning languages: Russian and Spanish. Throughout university years I used to study 4 languages simultaneously: Russian, Spanish, German and Italian besides teaching English. I also studied Japanese for 2 years.
There are certain points in life when you set your goals and you have to choose between your dreams. I wouldn’t consider this failing yourself but it’s just a matter of perspective.

The past two years have proved me wrong in many ways. I thought I had learnt from my past mistakes only to fall for them all over again.
This has been a wonderful journey. I have pushed myself to my limits in the past few months and I have acquired a lot in the meanwhile. I would say learning languages is fun, but right now I feel anything but fun.
I have been learning languages all my life long. I have always set goals I found challenging and demanding, so I took up more and more languages.
